Let’s Chow Dedicates new truck to POW’s at USNA Ceremony
October 29th, 2022
At the Navy Football game yesterday, Let’s Chow dedicated its newest food truck to POWs as a tribute to the unyielding men who endured years of brutal captivity in Vietnam and the families they left behind.
This food truck is meant to commemorate the POWs and serve future veterans so they may nourish the mind, body and spirit of themselves and others.
It’s impossible to verbalize the sacrifice these servicemembers made for their country. As a display of their courage and bravery in the face of hell on earth, we are proud to bless future generations of veterans with this mobile food training facility and honor POWs Commander Everett Alvarez, Captain Jerry Coffee, and Admiral Robert Shumaker.
To break in the truck, we spent the evening, after an overtime win against Temple, cooking prime rib steak burgers for the Midshipmen.
